October 16 More Progress....10-16-2009 Well I got a shelf up in my new storage building today, last week it was getting 3 cords of wood stacked in there. I don't think I'll get much more done on it now, I have too many other things to do before winter.     September 29 Not Sleeping It appears that my schedule will be changing yet again, we just hired a new merchandiser to fill the gaps. Oh yeah, I'm soooo excited, NOT! It'll be nice when they get it stabilized. Yesterday I had a rather frustrating day, had to paint the side of the porch, never should have used latex paint on the house to start with. The oil paint that was on the house before it was painted lasted for 45 years. I'll bet there isn't a latex out there that can say that. The latex paint that was put on just a few years ago is already peeling. I hate painting more than just about anything else. September 28 Progress Finally got the electrical put in and the rest of the plywood up. All that's left now is putting the pallets in for the firewood to sit on. Hmmm....I guess there is still grinding down that stump    September 18 Not much new Can't seem to get motivated, have lots to do but just can't seem to get fired up. Got a new wood storage building, the last one, just a cheap car port from Costco, collapsed last winter from the weight of the snow.  Here's what the new one looks like.   I need to get the rest of the plywood up on the walls and get the electrical wired, at some point I might get a front put on it. Got a lot of other stuff I need to do as well, but this is the main project at this point. September 10 Tough day yesterday Well I had to put my dog down yesterday It was more difficult than I thought it would be.  The cat in the picture has been gone quite a while. May they both rest in peace.  .September 06 Another schedule change..... Well looks like my schedule changes again on the 13th Wish they'd make up they're minds August 13 Had that meeting today... now I have a whole new schedule for work. Oh well, just glad to have a job these days, even better one I kinda like. August 11 HmmmmmMy boss just called, invited me to a meeting of merchandisers, be interesting to see what's up with this. What I've been doing lately... Working on getting new server software on line.... but it's a slow process, especially with limited time and the need for security testing. The other soft I was running was excellent but lacked an option for forums. Once I get it on line I'll update here! This is a screen shot of the user end of the old soft I have been running.  |
